Subaru Loves to Care

Since 2015, we've partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate blanks, arts & crafts kits, and messages of hope to patients at cancer treatment centers. This year will be our second year teaming up with Texas Oncology to give our support. Every June our team here at North Park Subaru Dominion deliver the blanks and arts & crafts kits to the patients and it is truly a blessing to hear all of the stories from the patients. LLS is at the forefront of the fight to cure cancer. Compared to other blood cancer nonprofits, LLS is the largest funder of cutting-edge research to advance cures. They have invested nearly $1.3 billion in research. We love this opportunity to get involved; spreading hope, love, and warmth to those fighting cancer.
Wish Granted for 16-year-old fighting cancer
This past Saturday, December 15th, we had the opportunity to meet Jaylah Martinez, a talented 16-year-old high school student that was diagnosed with stage four cancer in August. Her one wish was to present her art in an art gallery and thanks to Make-A-Wish and Subaru, her first art gallery will be opening in Los Angeles in the coming weeks. Her spirits are high and she said she looks forward to inspiring others to achieve their goals through her powerful message.

Share the Love: Meals on Wheels
This year we partnered with Meals on Wheels of San Antonio and Rainbow Senior Center at Kronkosky Place for the Holiday season. We delivered Meals to the seniors throughout Kendall county and met the most wonderful individuals. Because of the "Share the Love Event" the funds that were given will go a long way to help provide meals for the home bound members through the Kendall County Meals on Wheels program. A big thanks to all of our North Park Subaru customers for your support and thank you for the "Share the Love Event". Warm Wishes. Letter from Rainbow Senior Center at Kronkosky: "Dear North Park Subaru Dominion, thank you for supporting our Meals on Wheels Kendall County Program and sharing the love! We are so grateful and humbled to be one of your hometown charities. You truly make the difference - together we serve more than just a meal. Rainbow Senior Center at Kronkosky"
